Our principle
ReportZen (the "Add-on") does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. All processing happens entirely between your own Google account and your own Salesforce org. The developer has no means of accessing your data.
What the Add-on accesses, and why

What is stored
- Your Salesforce connection info (domain URL, Consumer Key, Consumer Secret) and license key are stored only in Google Apps Script User Properties — a private store tied to your own Google account.
- No third party, including the developer, can read them. They are not shared even if you share the spreadsheet.
- To remove stored credentials after uninstalling, contact support and we will walk you through it.
What we do not collect
- Salesforce data (fetched reports are written only to your spreadsheet)
- Usage analytics (the Add-on performs no tracking of any kind)
- Personal information (there is no mechanism to collect names, emails, etc.)
Data Transfer
ReportZen does not share, transfer, or sell any information received from Google APIs (raw, aggregated, or anonymized) to any third party. The only destination data is sent to is the user's own Salesforce org, which the user specifies during setup. There is no developer-operated server, and no data is sent to the developer. Data is never provided to advertisers, data brokers, or for lending/creditworthiness purposes.
Data Protection
- The Add-on runs on Google Apps Script and all processing happens inside the user's own Google account. The developer operates no server and no database.
- All communication with Salesforce uses HTTPS (TLS).
- Connection details and the license key are stored only in Apps Script User Properties, a private store managed by Google and tied to the user's own Google account. No third party, including the developer, can read them, and they are not shared even when the spreadsheet is shared.
Data Retention & Deletion
- The developer retains no user data at all (retention period is zero). Fetched report data is written only to the user's own spreadsheet and stays under the user's control.
- Connection details and the license key remain in the user's own User Properties until the user removes them.
- How to delete: open Extensions → ReportZen → Setup and save empty values to overwrite and clear them. Uninstalling the Add-on makes those User Properties inaccessible, per Google's platform behaviour. For a guided removal, contact support.
- To remove fetched report data, delete the destination sheet. No copy exists on the developer side.
Google API Services
ReportZen's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Analytics on this website
Separately from the Add-on, this website (getreportzen.com) uses Google Analytics to understand how pages are viewed. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous information such as page views and referring sites. It does not include information that identifies you personally. See the Google Analytics Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You can stop collection by disabling cookies in your browser.
